Britni Livingston has been dancing Hip-Hop for as long as she can remember. She is definitely born from a boom box! Growing up she has danced with and competed with various studios in many different styles of dance including Ballet, Point, Jazz, and Contemporary/ Lyrical. She had the opportunity to dance as a Stadium of Fire dancer for two years while dancing for those studios. While competing; she has also had opportunities to teach within those studios. She has taught a variety of styles as well, but Hip-Hop has always been her passion. In High School she was on the Dance Company and the Cheer Team and was able to choreograph Hip-Hop dances for those two teams. Currently she is attending Utah Valley University where she is apart of the school's Hip Hop Company. The company's started in 2012 and Britni has been on the company from the first year it started. She has also competed in UVU's Best Dance Crew with an all girl crew called "Low Profile" for two years in a row. The first year, the girls got first place, and this past year they received second place. This crew has also had many opportunities to perform throughout the community. Britni has also had many incredible opportunities to take master classes from various dancers from the popular T.V show "So You Think You Can Dance", including Twitch, Allison, Gev, and others that inspire her. Britni see's the joy and the life lessons dance brings to her and strives to share that passion that she has for it with others. She's so excited to bring some serious fun into this Hip-Hop class and can't wait to be inspired by the many dancers that she teaches!
